Jett was asked to sing the song Happy Birthday Jesus at our candlelight service. He started practicing in October. I was a nervous wreck. I worried he would pick his nose or would need to go potty. He stood up, took the mic and sang. He missed a few words, but he had a great pitch, made the key change and we all got through it with no hitches. Afterwards we went to my uncle and aunts Christmas gathering and then got home to be ready for Santa.
Cullen didn't love this outfit. I used the "he isn't five yet excuse." The text conversation leading up to them walking to church while I was at band practice was less than pleasant but he made it to church wearing this darling outfit.
We almost froze sitting rink side but Jett loved the 'movie' as he called it. Of course he ate from the time we got there until we left. He tried cotton candy for the first time, but loved the goldfish the best. Mom had never been to an ice show and she loved it too.
