New Bedroom Furniture

Last night our new bedroom furniture came in. Cullen and I always think we will put stuff off until tomorrow, but as soon as his parents left we decided to put the bed together ourselves. Good thing Ive been working out because I helped take the pieces up the stairs. While Cullen was assembling the bed I brought the box springs up the stairs by myself. We can't decide now if it is gonna stay upstairs or it will all be brought to the bedroom downstairs but the bed is at our house and it put together. I'll let you know if there is a change.

Congratulations Meagan!

Meagan placed Third Alternate last night in Pontotoc High School's Most Beautiful Pageant. It was so excititng watching all the girls. Once she made top ten I was excited but when they called her back for top five I knew she was excited. She looked beautiful, and I was glad to have been a help to her.

2009 in review- We began the year in Dallas, TX at the Cotton Bowl. One of the perks of Cullen's job is that we get to support the Rebels pretty much whenever they play. So we took off for Texas early on New Year's Eve. Hotty Toddy the Rebels won and Cullen and I had a great road trip thanks to the navigation system. Ha. Ha.
Kala and Preston got married right after we got back from Texas and it was fun to get to share in thier wedding weekend. Kala was a beautiful bride and it was fun to catch up with everyone.
Cullen and I had the SuperBowl Party at our house and it was nice to have space for everyone and we are still enjoying our kitchen that took seemingly forever to get.
Cullen turned 26 on 2-6 and we went to Memphis to celebrate.
For Valentine's my sweet husband bought me a ring I had been wanting. We had a great weekend and were able to avoid the nasty crowds by staying pretty close to home.

Yay! I just now have figured out to change my background from the yucky ones provided at this site. I have never had time to sit and look around and today I did! I guess I need to back post some things now, since I can now figure out how to work this site. Most people wouldn't be this excited but I feel like I accomplished something today!

Life is great! The new year is moving so quickly. School is great I love my kids most days...
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my niece. Cullen is excited baseball has begun. We are both trying to be more faithful to the gym.

School is back in session and I never have time to post. This weekend marks the first feelings of fall. Cullen and his friends from highschool take their annual camping trip, and I am working an Emmaus walk. Things are great around our house. I think we both are so excited to have a kitchen we cook and entertain all the time. We are excited to have a centrally located home that allows friends and family to stop by as they pass through town.

We got our granite today...yes yes I now have countertops...this has been an incredibly exciting week....tomorrow I'm headed to Marigold, to visit with Lee and Pup. I'll post any of my great new pieces I get. I can't wait.

We are getting our cabinets tomorrow...two almost three months post closing on our house. our kitchen is going to be partial working by the end of the week...and I cant wait.... the carbon foot print we have left on the world with our paper product use is unforgivable...with no kitchen sink...what can you do? Summer is sadly almost over. I move into my new classroom this week, turn 25 and find out my new students all this week.. I am so excited! Life is definitely exciting for us right now...Keep us in your prayers as we complete our renovation...

We bought a house in Pontotoc. I love it! It is 78 years old and has all the charm of older houses. We are having a BLAST fixing it up...really..not really... We are excited about vacation, and I am so excited to have a break from work for a couple of months.

Work is tough...busy busy busy. I am super excited to go on Spring Break! We are going to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to ski it up with my husband. I can't wait....... pray that I don't break a leg. I am super excited that at almost twenty-five I still get paid to take a week off. Nice!
