We made a flying trip to Jackson this past Saturday to celebrate Christmas with my brother and his family. After spending all day at the hospital to celebrate the birth of Lily James, I was a walking zombie. While in Jackson we picked up the baby bed and chair for Jett's room.
This little guy celebrated his first Christmas this year. He is on the move these days and all boy. This is his serious face or his I just woke up face.
Ellie was all about Christmas this year, and presents, and attention.
Uncle Cullen loves family Christmas time together can't you just see it in his eyes.
Henry loved his puzzles and blocks, but most loved the wrapping. Note to self for next year Jett will not need Santa to bring him lots of toys...he will just want the paper and the boxes.
This big boy has learned to say bye and wave, but he was in NO mood to show off any of his tricks for us. We just have to trust he does it.
Ellie got a fur church coat from Sadie, and when she first pulled it from the box, she might have gasped. A princess coat of her very own, but once she went to look in the mirror she got teased and came back without it on. It was too much attention for her in one day.
And this is her being sweet and sassy and shy all in one picture. She has changed so much in the last few years. Ellie met us at the car so excited that presents were under her tree and even more excited we brought some for her to open. She showed off her baby brother, her big girl room, and was super excited when we watched her dance recital video.
After about three hours down there we headed back home to make it back in time for our Sunday School Christmas party. Hopefully we will see them before the baby makes his debut.
