November iPhone Dump

Sick little Elf

Jett came down with an unexplained illness the day after Thanksgiving.  He played all day and didn't feel so sporty that night into Saturday.  I finally took him to the doctor Saturday, and a finger stick, flu test, strep test, chest xray, and an injection later we were headed home to sleep.  But this little one wanted to play trains more than anything.

Thankfully he was on the mend by the next day.

Thanksgiving

For some reason, this year's Thanksgiving week seemed a bit more relaxed.  Normally I am super stressed about getting everything ready, but this year it didn't phase me a bit.  Once we put up the tables, Jett was in heaven.  He thought each one was a tunnel to play under and the flower decor on top was a track for his trains.  I'd love to know what he was thinking.

Thanksgiving with a house full of babies was not as nerve wrecking as I thought it might be.  They played well, entertained themselves, and looked really sweet the whole time.

We are blessed that our family is close enough to all celebrate together, that food is abundant, and for the time we have to fellowship.  I hope we as a family are ever thankful for the love between us.

Nothing Sweeter

Cullen sent me this pic the other night while I was at Sister Act with my mom.  I love this picture.  Jett looks so happy, so in love with his Daddy.  Just love these two.

Walk of Champions

The other night before the ballgame, Cullen mentioned he had to do something before the game for work.  I was half heartedly listening and just before we left I was packing the truck when I saw this flag.  Apparently he told me and I didn't listen.  His job he had was to lead the Football Team down the Walk of Champions, escorting a donor.
Let me clear when I say, I have never before watched the Walk.  Never been to it.  I had no idea how it would be.  Oh my word.  It was NUTS.

The people were crazy everywhere and I didn't get to get really great pictures.  Cullen played it off as no big deal, but it was big to me for him.

Ole Miss vs. Presbyterian

For the first time in over 40 years my mom made it to the Grove.  It was a shot in the dark when I asked her if she wanted to come, and when she accepted I was elated.

Jett was not having a great day and was acting like the almost two year old he is.
Cullen's parents came to find us in the Grove and with so few people in the Grove he ran and played for a solid hour.

My brother and his wife joined the tailgate and the kids enjoyed the game.  I took, Jett and mom and headed home just before game time.  It was nice to have us all together and hopefully next time it can be at a more well attended game.
