Rebel Weekend

The grove was so much fun this past weekend, unlike the football game.  Poor Rebels, I don't know what is going to happen to us.

After the game we met up with some friends and hung out in a continuation of Toya's Birthday Week.
Leslie made it to Oxford after what seem to take forever.
Shep was in town as well and was a great host as always.
I also got to see my student teacher from long ago.
I love Oxford in the fall.

Fidelis

Our Club program this month was an art class! My friend Ashley Buse came and taught these ladies how to paint pears! It was so much fun! She hosts weekly classes at her home and I plan on going to one soon! We had a blast!

Todd Pollard

On Monday, October 10th, I was out of school for fall break.  It was wonderful.  I spent the weekend sewing and getting ready for Halloween.  I headed out the door to go to Tupelo when I heard a rustling in the leaves.  Looking back I expected to see a snake, but no- I found a turtle.  I ran inside put on my cooking mitt and ran back out to get him.  Of course I had to send Cullen a pic of our newest pet.  He immediately called me to tell me to put him back where I found him.  I didn't and left him in a bowl on the kitchen counter.  I ran to Tupelo and was back homing talking to my mom when she asked about something in the kitchen.  I then remembered Todd then name I picked for the turtle.  I race to the bowl only to find him not in the bowl.  I screamed and looked on the floor knowing I would find his remains and broken shell....it was no where to be found and I was panicking thinking about where he would turn up.  My brain had left me in the excitement- he couldn't have jumped he would have broken his shell...so I began looking and I found him across the kitchen in the sink chilling out in some water left in a frying pan.  Back on the oven mitts went and I put him back in a pet carrier.  When Cullen came home...this was the face I got.

And Todd went back home to his nice green grassy abode.

Sharp Shooter

This was me before the Women's Handgun class I took.  I was filing my nails ready for the day.

Then we go down to work and learned about stance, and posture and all that jazz.
Mrs. Babb, the assistant principal, was like me and talked into taking this class by our school resource officer.
 Charlie's Angels revisited.
 My target
Ready for a day on the range.
It was so much fun.  I must say that I was worried sick on my drive over to Oxford.  All I could think about was if someone was going to shoot me or not.  I was terrified, but by the end of the day I was ready for Cullen to buy me a pistol.

Principal Corps Fall Class 3

The course I'm in now require I go back on campus to stay every three weeks.  This past weekend I had to report to campus on Thursday to help with a conference and of course it was time for the Fab Five, to be back together again.
We sat in conferences all day Thursday and Friday and then Friday night we were invited to the Big Truck Theater in Taylor.  Taylor Grocery catered and a band played.  It was a lot of fun and Cullen was able to come and enjoy.  Saturday we had more conferencing and then I went home to make a cake for and Oktoberfest Party that night in New Albany.

The house was AMAZING and again it was fun hanging out with all the PC peeps.

Today I am ready to go home.  I have eaten the past 6 breakfasts at the Inn and I have not eaten a home cooked meal since Monday night a week ago.  I must say I am ready for some food prepared by my own two hands.  It is nice though to come home to a made bed and fresh towels.
