With the threat of cold weather I needed my mom to make her awesome soup. She assured me that when I got married she gave the recipe in her cookbook...but I NEEDED her to make it.
To this recipe you need to add about two sticks of butter just for added goodness.
It makes a ton and is so good to freeze or share.
