Oreo Truffles

Just so you know...go ahead and double this recipe. They will all be gone.

You will need:

1 package of Oreo Cookies- ground to a powder

1 8oz. block of Cream Cheese - softened

1 lb of white chocolate- melted

Grind/Chop your Oreo cookies. I use a mini prep food processor. Blend with softened cream cheese. Form 1 inch balls with mixture. Dip balls into melted chocolate. Put chocolate covered balls on wax lined cookie sheet into the refrigerator and allow to set up.

Enjoy! They will be gone quickly!

Felecia,

It's been a long time since I've made these! Thanks for reminding me of them!! The first time I ate these was at one of our Sunday School Christmas parties. Julie R. brought a batch, and you are right! They were gone in a flash!! Have you made the truffles using a baked 9X13 cake from a mix? I haven't made them yet, but I have been told they are very good, too!!

Many Blessings and Happy Cookin' ~ Connie

These are really pretty if you drizzle them with dark chocolate! Also, you can do the reverse...dip in dark chocolate and drizzle with white...makes them really "dressy" if that's a term you can apply to food...
